Senior Software and Systems Engineer at NOVO Energy

Join us at NOVO Energy, a start-up revolutionizing the electric vehicle industry, and help Volvo Cars go fully electric by 2030. As a Senior Software and Systems Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the software landscape at NOVO Energy and developing a state-of-the-art Battery Research Platform for R&D researchers and engineers.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a small team to develop the Battery Research Platform - Model, collect, and make available data from research lab to the organization - Handle manual data entry from CRUD applications to machine integrations - Architect and own robust, secure back-end data pipelines and storage - Create responsive front-end software for R&D teams to use - Adapt to fast-changing internal requirements and deliver responsive changes - Take ownership of solutions end-to-end

Requirements: - Entrepreneurial spirit and "can do" attitude - Proficiency in SQL databases (relational and columnar/time-series) - Experience with software infrastructure (workload orchestration, cloud infrastructure, data pipeline systems) - Proficiency in back-end development (Rust, Go) and basic front-end development (Type/Javascript) - Knowledge of Data Science/Engineering practices and tooling (dbt, Python with Jupyter Notebooks) is a bonus - Experience with Industrial IoT and Industrial protocols (OPC-UA, MQTT, Modbus, Profinet) is a plus
