About Rust.Careers

Rust.Careers was created in order to help more rust developers achieve more economic freedom. During 2020 Mozilla laid off a lot of people, resulting in a lot of Rust Developers losing their jobs. During these layoffs there was no place rust developers could turn to find and browse available jobs.

Firo Solutions LTD launched Rust Careers in October 2020 as a response to the Mozilla Layoffs. A time when a global pandemic was taking place and a lot of people lost their job. The goal of Rust.Careers is to be a stable pillar in the Rust ecosystem, which developers can turn to in order to find and browse jobs.

Rust.Careers is the oldest still running rust hiring board website, started when there was no rust-only alternative the community could turn to. As a front-runner in the ecosystem, we stay true to our values which is to provide an honest and always online job board for the rust community.
