The Role: Information Security Engineer

We're looking for a Rust developer to join our Information Security team and help build robust, secure systems that protect our platform and users. This is an excellent opportunity for engineers with 0-4 years of experience to grow their skills while working on high-impact security challenges.

What You'll Do

Design, write, and maintain clear, efficient Rust code for security applications
Deploy and manage applications in Linux production environments
Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system reliability
Participate in on-call rotations to maintain critical production systems
Collaborate with security teams to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions
Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation
Contribute to open-source projects and engage with the developer community

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

Professional experience with Rust programming
Strong foundation in Linux systems, including command line and scripting
Solid understanding of network protocols and experience building network applications
Knowledge of building web applications and CLI tools in Rust
Experience with reverse proxies (Nginx, HAProxy, or similar)
Strong grasp of fundamental data structures and algorithms
Proficiency with Git and modern development workflows
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
Familiarity with open-source development practices

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Golang is a plus
Contributions to open-source projects
Understanding of security principles and best practices
