This role sits within Striga, a Lightspark company based in Tallinn, Estonia. Together, we're building Lightspark's European payments platform—bridging the gap between traditional finance and cryptocurrency by connecting fiat and crypto rails to enable faster, more efficient cross-border money movement.

The Role: Senior Fullstack Engineer

We're looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer who thrives in entrepreneurial environments, enjoys shipping code quickly, and wants to help shape our culture of engineering excellence. As part of our Lightspark Payments Europe team, you'll design and build the user experience for our enterprise product, create and automate our Connect SDKs, and develop new features for our APIs and websites.

This is your chance to work at the intersection of traditional finance and cutting-edge cryptocurrency technology, building payment solutions that will transform how money moves across Europe.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and maintain the core product experience for Lightspark/Striga customers
• Develop and upgrade our SDKs and APIs across multiple platforms and programming languages
• Build internal tooling that complies with financial regulations and integrates with central banks and payment systems
• Dive deep into real-time payments infrastructure and cross-border payment challenges
• Work primarily in TypeScript, with opportunities to learn and use Go, Python, and Kotlin
• Collaborate closely with UX design, product management, and DevOps teams
• Create automated testing and continuous integration pipelines
• Design and build production services, websites, and applications that serve millions of users

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of full-stack engineering experience
• Experience with TypeScript and React (preferred)
• Familiarity with Python and Go (advantageous)
• Ability to drive initiatives forward with creativity and resourcefulness
• Willingness to rapidly adapt to new technologies and programming languages
• Capacity to work independently and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines
• Strong collaborative skills and desire to grow in a team environment
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (not required—we value non-traditional backgrounds)
